Funding Aubrey’s Autism Dog

Update! 

We have secured a dog through “On Command K9 Academy” in Oklahoma!!! Aubrey is getting a European Golden Retriever, named Cooper. He is currently being trained for her specific needs. We are going to Oklahoma next weekend to meet him! We are over the moon excited!!! This dog is going to be life changing for Aubrey. We appreciate all who have donated and prayed. We are still actively fundraising for Cooper. Going this route will allow us to bring Cooper home either by the end of this year or beginning of next year.

Hello, my name is Emily Nally. My husband (Evan) and I have a beautiful little girl named Aubrey. She was diagnosed with Autism, childhood anxiety, and global developmental delay a year ago this week. Aubrey has sensory meltdowns, struggles with transitions, and is currently non-verbal. I say currently because we serve a mighty God and we are continuing to pray for words! She is currently attending a developmental pre-school for special needs children and has five therapists- one of which comes to our home weekly. She is who started us on our Autism journey and has played a vital role in this journey. Aubrey has recently taken to hard surfaces to take out her frustration. It is devastating and an emotional rollercoaster to watch our three year old bang her head on doors, walls, and hard furniture when she is overwhelmed, frustrated, or upset. We truly believe a service dog would help her with her anxiety and sensory meltdowns. She also has a tendency to wander off and does not have any sense of danger. This is something Autism dogs are specifically trained for! I am starting this fundraiser to raise money for Aubrey’s Autism dog. We have applied for an Autism Dog through 4 Paws for Ability in Ohio. The cost is great, but we will do what it takes. In addition to the donations given, we will be fundraising and doing anything we can to raise money. Please let me know if you have any questions.
