Funding Dr. Smith’s Dream for Willow Animal Hospital

Dr. Kent Smith was a brilliant veterinarian who dedicated his life to caring for pets he dearly loved. He was truly an Angel sent from God.

Dr. Smith had a beautiful dream to open his own veterinarian hospital. It was his personal commitment to work with clients to provide services and products at times without receiving any financial gain. It meant more to him to ensure the pet received the quality of care they deserved. Dr. Smith was so committed to his clients and their pets that he put his personal cell phone number on every client’s invoice. Having access to Dr. Smith day and night allowed clients to seek his guidance in real time to care for their beloved pet.

Dr. Smith worked tirelessly for many years to serve the community he dearly loved and in August 2022, Willow Animal Hospital opened its doors.

Dr. Smith’s vision was for Willow to be a family oriented veterinary hospital that served the community. Under his direction Willow Animal Hospital provided the highest standard of care in veterinary medicine by hiring a professional, competent, hardworking, and caring staff that went above and beyond to provide exceptional personalized services to our clients and their pets. Dr. Smith took great pride in personally training staff members to meet their full potential while providing opportunities for them to continue expanding their existing skills. Within one year of opening Willow Animal Hospital, it was voted Best Veterinarian Hospital in Fauquier County, Virginia. Dr. Smith also received the prestigious award of Top Veterinarian for many consecutive years.

Dr. Smith was a loving and dedicated father to his daughter Averi. She was truly his pride and joy.

All money raised through the Go Fund Me will go directly to the Dr. Kent Smith Memorial Fund to continue to practice the highest standard of care and never lose sight of compassion to our patients and commitment to our clients.
