Funding for Cruz Melendez’s Recovery

Hi all, Cruz was involved in a serious car accident on Tuesday, May 24th around 10 PM when he was driving home from work. He is currently in the ICU and is still in critical condition. The details of the accident have not been released by authorities. As of now we know he has a broken right ankle, his right heel bone has a compound fracture with the possibility of infection, broken left femur, a collapsed lung, 3 mm brain bleed which is slowing spreading, and a shattered pelvis which punctured his bladder, spleen and might have caused further unknown injuries. He has been prepped for his first surgery for his left femur. His injuries will require multiple surgeries and months of recovery. We would be grateful for any financial assistance you are able to provide to assist with significant medical bills and his family’s immediate need to support him. For those who know Cruz, he is the sweetest, most amazing person, and has the biggest heart. He is a 17 year old Junior at Trabuco Hills High School, a tri-athlete, and also has worked a part-time job since he was 15. Cruz lives with his mother Rahnee who is a single mother.
