Funding for Get Outside WNC

Thanks to your donations, Get Outside WNC was able to purchase a domain and increase marketing efforts!  Now, we hope to use this GoFundMe to simply raise more money for our beneficiary - Muddy Sneakers.  If you can’t hike with us our want to give a little extra, donations through our GoFundMe are highly appreciated.

Get Outside WNC is a 100% volunteer organization created by Jenna Watson, a high school student in the Asheville area. Jenna has always had a deep passion for the outdoors and created GO WNC as a way to give back to her roots - the Blue Ridge Mountains. Through guided group hikes in the Asheville area, Jenna raises money for various local outdoor programs. This summer, Jenna is raising money for Muddy Sneakers, an organization that promotes exposure to nature and outdoor education for youth. Get Outside WNC will lead 5 group hikes between June and August. Each hike will cost $10 per person and all proceeds will go to Muddy Sneakers.
