Funding for Maame Yamphet
Donation protected
Hello everyone, I’m fundraising for Mrs Victoria Louisa Maame Yamphet; a wife, a mother of three, an aunt and a sister. And she is my mother. She worked as a support worker for over 20 years. A loving lady who loved looking after people but when it was her turn, she was neglected. My mother died at 8:55am on Tuesday, 10th January 2023. she complained of belly aches and prior to that she had a flu. The paramedics were called at 6:09am in the early hours of Tuesday,10th January 2023. they had told me to wait between 6-10 minutes. I got no response back . I then called them back at 6:20/6:30 they told me to wait . I kept calling them and then they they told me I had to wait for an hour. During this hour my mother was still in pain and her breathing was shortening. The paramedics called back and issued us a taxi for Victoria (my mother) to be taken to the nearest hospital. The paramedics told us the taxi was going to be 10 minutes. I called back to ask again where the taxi was at 7:20, the taxi then arrived at 7:45. My mother stopped breathing. I called the paramedics in tears pleading for them to come quicker in tears and distress. They then came a minute after which was 7:44am. because my mother was left for a hour and 45 minutes to be in pain, sadly … she didn’t make it . She suffered from cardiac arrest due to her not being able to breathe properly. With your donations, we can help give her a befitting burial. Anything helps.
Thank you.
