Residents for the Preservation of Springfield Township
The residents of Springfield Township are facing a threat to our serenity, our wetlands, and the integrity of the water supply in our homes from a proposed quarry.
The quarry, located between Springfield St., Mine Road, and Route 309, will permanently alter the way of life for all township residents as it would set a precedent by the township of moving away from their previous commitment to open space and environmental conservation.
In order to preserve this space in the current state, the residents will require funding to convince the township board to deny the quarry application. The funds generated will be used solely for this purpose which could include signage, advertising in local media, or legal fees.
Any unused funds will be donated back to Springfield Township via the EAC, so no matter what, your dollars will benefit the local community.
