As we all know, life sometimes hits us unexpectedly, and we sometimes fall on our knees. to get up, sometimes someone would have to pick up like a toddler being picked up by her parents. It is the same condition here with me right now, and I need my community to pick me up.

My name is Amone Sayaphong, and I am from Laos and living in Wolfville, Canada. two years ago, I started my small catering business called ' The Rice Bowl" from my home. It was going well until now when I found out that my kitchen needed some renovation to meet the food safety requirements of Nova Scotia. With the business run by only myself, I was paying the mortgage, kid's insurance, house expenses, and more. My income was just enough to cover those things, leaving me with no emergency fund. Sadly, at the current moment, we are having a dispute in our house and I have decided to make a big decision in my life to be an independent woman. These events left me with no money, and I am really struggling with this current scenario.

This is the reason why I am writing here to you, my friends. Your small help would be invaluable to me in this situation, and I promise to remember your help. I envision being a model for other women who want to run their own businesses and are struggling to take that step in our community.
