Funding Kuya Mike's Final Farewell
Donation protected
Our lives are forever changed with the tragic loss of my older brother, Michael.
Kuya Mike, as I called him, moved to the US from the Philippines in 2016 in search of a better life for him and his four kids. It was difficult for me when he left, my childhood idol and best friend was so far away. Through God's grace, I joined him here in Las Vegas in 2019. My kuya worked so hard every day, all he wanted was to reunite with his kids and bring them to the US. I admired his commitment to them, they always came first. He was so happy when we received the news that my nieces and nephews would have their visas approved this year. His dream was finally coming true.
It breaks my heart to know my kuya is no longer with us. Not only am I losing my brother, but his kids have lost their father. It's a painful reality that we as a family will always have to carry. Kuya Mike, you deserved only the best. You were the best man, brother, son, friend, and father to everyone you met. Your generosity, personality, humor, and love will be missed. The only thing I can do for you now is send you to Heaven the proper way.
Our family is going through tremendous grief and unfortunately not prepared for all that goes along with planning a funeral at this time. We want to give Kuya Mike the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am humbly asking for donations to help cover the cost of Kuya Mike's funeral. The magnitude of a loss like this is incomprehensible and impossible to even put into words. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
