Funding Mercury’s Vet Care

Mercury is a snuggly affectionate chonky boy from Ontario Canada. When his parents first laid their eyes on him it was love at first sight. Not only is he beautiful on the outside but his personality is just as sweet. Adopted from Oshawa Animal Services in 2019 this boy has become the love of everyone who meets him. Originally his name was Freddie but it didn’t quite fit his personality so it was changed to Mercury (after Freddie Mercury). Mercury is typically called by any of the following “Merky” “Turkey” “Merky Turkey” “Chonky Boy” & “Snuggle Bug”.

No one would not be exaggerating by saying that Mercury is the sweetest cat ever. He loves to snuggle, make buiscuits and even play fetch.

Unexpectedly, he became very sick overnight. We have run several tests through the vet including X-rays and blood work but unfortunately we are running out of funds to keep going to find the root of the problem. This once sociable boy has become lethargic and reclusive. It is looking like a surgery on his stomach may be the only way to save him. We are currently waiting on conclusive results from the vet.

unfortunately, we have exhausted all other options financially and are now reaching out to family, friends and cat lovers alike to keep this sweet boy around. Please help us save our baby boy.
