Fundraise for buy iftar for poor people in Egypt

Assalamualaikum dear brother and sisters,

I hope my message finds you well.

"لَن تَنَالُوا۟ ٱلْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا۟ مِن شَىْءٍۢ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٌۭ"

"You will never achieve righteousness until you donate some of what you cherish. And whatever you give is certainly well known to Allah" Surat Ali'Imran, 92.

As we are approaching Ramadan, I am writing to you to kindly consider helping our brothers and sisters to have food on their table during the month of Ramadan.

We are a group of Egyptian brothers who are volunteering to collect funds to provide charity work in poor cities and villages in Egypt. We are planning to reach out to poor families, to provide them with the box of Ramadan. This box contains essentials, not including meat, chicken or fish because these items are expensive and our vision is to provide families with essentials. The items in the box are: rice, sugar, oil, pasta, tea, salt, tomato paste, fava beans, lentils, kidney beans, dates, coconut, raisins and dried apricot. This box will cost £8.

We are aiming to raise £5000 to feed 600 families.
