Fundraiser For Haley

A couple months ago while at the park with her sister, our dear friend, Haley, had her laptop and other personal items stolen out of her car. The person who did it, also used her laptop to access her PayPal account, and completely drained her bank account!

Haley did her own investigative work and was successful at helping the police locate the perpetrator, whom they were then able to take into custody.

This led to Haley receiving her laptop back, which was full of sentimental value, but unfortunately, she wasn’t as lucky with the money that was stolen. She waited months to see if her bank would return the money, but they are refusing to see the transactions as fraudulent because the perpetrator was able to log in to her PayPal account.

Haley had been working very hard for the months prior to this event, because she is moving to Prague in August to teach English for a year. Now, she is put in a challenging situation where she has to work even longer hours to make up for what was stolen.

If you have ever been robbed or had something stolen from you, you probably know the feelings of mistrust, uneasiness, and anxiety that can come along with it. Our intention with this fundraiser is to restore Haley’s faith and help her to feel loved and supported while also easing her financial stress before this big move to Prague.
