Fundraiser February for Olive Tree Resources

Hello my name is April Starks and I am the Chief Steward Officer (CSO) of Olive Tree Resources. I was given Olive Tree as an organization model in 1998 to service others. The branches have grown over the years and now have expanded to offer Counseling, Training, and Mediation (Advocacy) services to Teens and Families at modest means to no cost. This is important to me because I desire to be what I needed when I was a teen, as well as offer what I needed as a parent to assist in raising my children without financial stress, burden or limitation.

The proceeds of our fundraising goal will go toward offering teen counseling (we do not turn teens away due to financial lack), scholarships for family counseling, resources for our Teen Life leadership development and mentorship program.

Olive Tree Resources is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity and mainly operates off of grants and the generosity of donor partners. Will you consider joining us in making a difference in the lives of teens and families?

As we prepare for our annual fundraiser we hope you will consider what you can give to support our mission of teen & family social services.

Last year (2023) we raised $2,425. Our goal was $10,000 so we have $7,575 to reach our goal continued……..

Thanks to generous giving partners in 2023, we were able to provide the following:

*Sponsorship of 20 teens counseling sessions for family assistance.

*Sponsorship of a young adults overnight transition from an abusive situation.

*Purchase of educational subscription for Weekend Academy students.

*Sponsorship of 3 couples in financial distress who had urgent counseling need.

*Transportation expense for Spring Break College Tour Trip to Centre College.

*Inventory $175 investment into Teen Harvest Business Showcase.
