Van Fundraiser for Neville Smith

As some of you may know, Nev had major surgery earlier this year after being diagnosed with cancer for the second time.

The surgery caused him to lose all strength and some function in his shoulder which makes day to day life a lot more challenging. With multiple long hospital stays the past few months his body has not been able to make a proper recovery. Transferring in and out of his car is challenging for Nev and, after what his body has been through this past year alone, the transferring has become incredibly unsafe and not an option anymore.

We are hoping to raise some money to put towards a reliable and functional wheelchair accessible van! As you can imagine, buying a van like this is extremely expensive, many costing over $50,000. It is so important for Nev to be able to continue his recovery as stress free and safe as possible, and still have the ability to be mobile. The money raised from this fundraiser will go directly towards the cost of the van!
