Fundraiser for adaptive e-bike for Fly

Hi my name is Jesse and I am fundraising for my good friend Dustin Fleischhaker. As many of you know our good friend Dustin Fleischhaker was in a tragic motor vehicle accident on August 9th 2010. As the result of the accident Dustin crushed his c6 vertebrae and is a quadriplegic with limited hand function. These past few years Dustin was able to rent and trial a bowhead reach adventure e-bike with quadriplegic hand controls. Unfortunately Dustin’s insurance provider would not cover the costs of the bowhead reach because they felt it had no physical rehabilitation benefits. However they did not take into consideration the quality of life this bike provides Dustin. While renting and trialing the bowhead reach Dustin was able to go out for rides on his own, and go for rides with his family. This fundraiser is to help him cover the cost of the bike & quadriplegic hand controls, the bike complete with the adaptive hand controls costs approx $25.000.

Dustin is one of the most inspirational people out there. He sees the positive in everything, and pushes through hard times with a smile on his face. Dustin has always been there for so many people when they have needed him, and he hopes in turn everyone will be there to support him. Dustin thanks everyone for their support, it is hugely appreciated.
