Fundraiser for Brendan O'Reilly

Friends and Family as most of you may be aware my brother Brendan has been struck down with an illness that came on suddenly.

On 31st of January Brendan went to work and had trouble balancing throughout the day symptoms began to worsen and Brendan was admitted to hospital with stroke like symptoms over the next few days Brendans symptoms started to get even worse and Brendan became paralysed and unable to walk and move his arms. After weeks of testing and a brain biopsy Brendan was diagnosed with an extremely rare condition that only 1 in 250,000 people get called Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) Brendan has been in the Princess Alexandra hospital since being transferred from Ipswich.

Brendan has been in hospital the last 2 and a half months and unable to work to support his young children, while Brendan is slowly making progress with his physiotherapy and on the mend he will be in hospital for months to come.

As a family we are asking if anyone has anything spare to donate to Brendan as he will not be able to return to work or drive a car for the forseeable future when he is eventually allowed to leave hospital. Anything would be greatly appreciated at this time as we try to help Brendan get back on his feet physically and financially, Thanks
