Fundraiser for Breydan's Surgery Expenses.

Hello! I'm Shannon, the wife of Breydan Goebel who asked me to write this Go Fund Me request. Our goal is to cover the insurance deductible and living expenses for and after Breydan's top surgery this September.

Top surgery is surgery performed on the chest as part of gender reassignment, specifically to remove breast tissue.

Breydan's surgery is scheduled for September 4th. He will be off of work for four to six weeks with very limited mobility. I will need to take off work for his first week post surgery, with limited hours as he continues recovery.

The proceeds of this Go Fund Me will be kept in a medical account that we'll access just prior to surgery to pay for his out of pocket expenses and home expenses while we're off of work.

You know Breydan as a wonderful father, husband and friend. What you don't see is the daily pain and struggle he goes through as a result of dysmorphia. The chest binding, the misgendering and the cruel, misguided hate.

This life affirming surgery has been a dream of his for many years. He's a good man, and absolutely deserves our support.
