Fundraiser for Cheryl Sutton

Hello, my name is Brittany Lawson. I have created this page for my mom, Cheryl Sutton. Earlier this year, Cheryl was diagnosed with lung cancer. Since her diagnosis, she has experienced multiple inpatient hospitalization, visits to the emergency room, and undergone chemotherapy and radiation. She is handling her diagnosis and the ups and downs of her health with stride, but she needs your help. Although she is insured, the bills associated with cancer treatment beyond what her insurance is paying are piling up. We have created this go fund me account to help raise money to assist her in covering these expenses.

If you cannot donate, please consider attending the benefit on October 1, 2023 at the Paris VFW. The benefit is from 7 am to 11 am. It will include a free will donation biscuits and gravy breakfast, as well as other fundraising efforts. Bill Stidham is coordinating the VFW benefit.

A little bit about Cheryl: Cheryl started working in the building that is now Lyon Metals in Paris, when she was 18 years old. She continued to work in that building up until her cancer diagnosis earlier this year. She raised 4 children as a single mother, holding multiple jobs to make ends meet. You may know her from her time working at the Station as a waitress and bartender, or perhaps you met her during fellowship at Oliver Methodist Church.
