UPDATE: Family and Friends, we are deeply saddened to update you that Dan Mitchell lost his brave fight with carcinomatosis on Friday, May 28th, 2021. We have now changed this Gofundme to capture Dan's final medical expenses as well as his funeral costs. Thank you to all who have already supported this fundraiser by donating and sharing. Dan had a knack at making anyone smile and laugh with his sense of humor. He was a supportive father, loving husband, and model son. He would be the first to volunteer to help anyone in need. Dan will be greatly missed.

On March 31st, 2021 Dan Mitchell went into the hospital for stomach pain. The prognoses, although serious, was believed to be attributed to gallbladder related issues. A routine procedure was set to be scheduled shortly after discovery. That routine procedure never happened as his pain began to increase over the following days and weeks. That is when the Mitchell's received the most unfortunate news - Dan was diagnosed with a rare condition called Bile Duct Cancer. He immediately had to undergo many tests, procedures and hospital stays for Doctors to pin down how serious the condition was. In just 40 short days from initial hospitalization, Dan and his family were told by doctors that his condition has progressed into Carcinomatosis, Stage 4.
Dan is now undergoing treatment and while he and his family fight this, he is going to incur a multitude of medical expenses along with reduced income. We are requesting relief from any and all colleagues, friends, family and any kind hearted people for supporting the Mitchell Family.
