The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) - which in major crises brings together 14 leading UK aid charities to raise money to help save lives and rebuild shattered communities - is appealing for funds.

DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance.

£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month

£50 could provide blankets for four families

£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month.

All money raised will go directly to the DEC from GoFundMe.
