Fundraiser for Ezekiel "Eazy" Padilla
My grandbaby Ezekiel "Eazy" is due in June. At the scheduled 2nd trimester ultrasound a heart defect was found. After all the MRI's,Echocardiograms,Genetic Testing and Ultrasounds he has been diagnosed with HLHS which is a serious Congenital Heart Disease. Originally the Fetal Cardiologist thought he had no chance at survival but he is beating the odds. Baby Eazy will be having his first surgery, Norwood surgery, as soon as he is born. This is the first open heart surgery of 3 to help his heart function properly. He will have to stay in the hospital for some time, anywhere from 1-2 months for his 1st surgery. He will also need 2 more surgeries after this one to help repair his little heart. Therefore, I am putting this fundraiser together for my Daughter and Son in Law, Samantha and Mike, to help prepare their family for the arrival of Baby Eazy and to help support them in time after birth. We will not be having a baby shower because we believe this would be a better way for support. They will be dealing with extra medical expenses, spending a lot of time away from work and traveling back and forth to Children's Hospital. Without these surgeries he will have no chance at life.
