Fundraiser for Family of Hassan Abubaker Adem

It is with humble acceptance of God's will and with deepest sorrow we inform you the death of Hassan Abubaker Adem on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Hassan was born in 1982, in Kebilubu, Eritrea. In 2006 he was sent by the Government of Eritrea to join the national service (Sawa). After he completed his military training in Sawa, he became a member of the Eritrean Armed Forces and he serviced in Mendefera, Assab and Adi Keyih. In 2011, he immigrated to Ethiopia. In 2015, he was permitted to come to the US as a refugee. From 2015, until his death, Hassan resided in Lynn, MA.

On June 30, late at night, he was struck by a hit and run car. He was admitted at Mass General Hospital, Boston for medical care. Unfortunately, he did not survive and he died on July 4, 2020. Hassan was buried on July 8, 2020 in Taunton, MA. Hassan is survived by his loving parents and his two children who live in Eritrea.
