Fundraiser for Jason Melvin and Family
Donation protected
Friends, family, and community:
On October 25th, my husband, Jason Melvin, sustained a severe brain injury. After giving a man a ride home from a bar in Eastman, he was shot through the back window of his truck. The bullet entered the right side of his head. He was med flighted to UW hospital, and is currently in critical, yet stable condition. His doctors have told us that he will remain hospitalized for weeks to months, as brain injuries are very unpredictable. Additionally, it is likely that he will need rehabilitation at another facility, after he is released from UW hospital.
As many of you know, Jason owns a landscape/snow removal business. His company is our families main source of income, and being that he is unable to work, it has put our family under a significant amount of financial strain.
We would like to extend our thanks for the incredible support that has been shown to our family in this time. Because so many people have been asking how they can help, it was suggested to me that I set up this GoFundMe. If you feel so led, please consider donating. All funds raised will go towards Jason's recovery and supporting my three children.
Thank you for your prayers and generosity.
Susie, Libbie, Ben & Lucy
