Memorial for Jeimy Gonzales
Donation protected
On September 5th, Jeimy Gonzales was on his way to the airport in San Pedro Sula to return to the United States. He had visited Honduras for the first time since arriving in the US 4.5 years ago to be reunited with his mother and siblings, having begged to celebrate his 20th birthday in his hometown. His mother finally relented and surprised him with a plane ticket for his birthday. On the way to the airport, the car they were riding in crashed and Jeimy, his aunt Erlinda, and her two daughters Reina and Vallolet were all killed instantly.
