Fundraiser for Jes Edeburn

On August 1st, 2022, our dear colleague Jes Edeburn unexpectedly lost her husband, Dallas.

In a year and a half of marriage, Jes and Dallas shared more hardships and joys than many couples experience in a lifetime. In 2021, just weeks after their wedding, Dallas, a Ramsey County Deputy, was severely injured in the line of duty. Jes cared for him as he recovered from his injuries, being the relentless cheerleader for him that she has always been for her friends, family, and students. In February of this year, Dallas and Jes welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Bennett.

Jes is now facing the unimaginable: raising her son without her beloved husband by her side. As Jes navigates this heartbreaking loss, we, her colleagues in the Edina High School English Department, hope to relieve some of her anxiety about the future by raising funds for her and Bennett.

Jes pours so much love into everything she does: marriage, motherhood, teaching, coaching, and being there for her family and friends. Please join us in showering her with love and giving her hope in this dark time.
