Fundraiser for Kahlia

Here is a little background on Kahlia:

Kahlia had open heart surgery back in 2020 and the surgery was done beautifully. But the end of 2021 it started to slowly worsen again. She was monitored until January 2023 when the cardiologist explained her heart has significantly worsened and she would need another open heart surgery. Thankfully, her mom was aware of a medication that a handful of other children with costello syndrome were trialing and it was helping their heart defects. She asked about the medication and it was decided kahlia would be a good candidate to trial this medication. It was originally used for skin cancer, so it is a chemo drug, and can have some side effects. So she will be heading to omaha the end of May to trial this drug. The length of stay is unknown and will be unknown until they are there and take each day by day. If it works and she has no or little side effects she will be able to return home and be monitored by her main cardiologist. But if it doesn't go as planned she will be having her open heart surgery.

We know the next year is going to be really rough for Kahlia and her parents. We wanted to start a fundraiser to help them with their expenses while they spend a lot of their time in the hospital and at Doctor appointments. Thank you all for your support!!
