Fundraiser for Kathleen Messina Medical Expenses

To our dearest family and friends,

On Sunday evening, January 8, 2023, Kathleen Messina, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and co-worker, experienced a hemorrhagic stroke that has turned into an unexpected and devastating tragedy for Kathleen’s family and friends. She remains in a coma in the ICU with no assurances to the extent of damage and what her future life holds. We remain optimistic.

The recovery road is expected to be a very long one with continued ICU care, countless CT scans, additional hospital stays, nursing home care, 24/7 care and extensive and ongoing physical therapy. Kathleen’s husband Tom, twin daughters Alicia and Brittney and son-in-law John have been by her bedside day and night. Her grandchildren, Cole, Tyler and Hailey miss their “Hunny” dearly.

As you likely know, Kathleen’s son, Thomas, lost his battle to cancer back in 2009, and now, Kathleen is battling for her life. She and her family have been through A LOT and they need your support NOW more than ever. Many of you have asked how you can help. Please consider donating to Kathleen and her family so immediate expenses related to Kathleen’s treatment and any other obstacles thrown her way during this VERY difficult time can be paid so her family can focus on giving her the full support she needs to get better soon.
