Help Support Keith Stevens Fighting For Life

Hi everyone! My name is Sidney. I am trying to raise money for my brother, Keith Stevens, who is currently fighting for his life after he unexpectedly suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm on March 14th. He has been in the ICU in a coma ever since but is fighting the odds while his 13 year old son is fighting for him from home.
Doctors initially were not even sure if he would make it to Pittsburgh for surgery, nor if he would be strong enough to pull through after the surgery. However, when he arrived to Pittsburgh he underwent a craniotomy and unbelievably made it through. Since then, he has had multiple procedures- including a tracheostomy, a feeding tube being placed, a shunt placed to control pressure in his head, and a cranioplasty to replace the part of his skull that needed to be removed due to the aneurysm.
He is a single father of a very sweet, 13 year old boy, who unfortunately is the one who found Keith on the floor surrounded by blood after coming home from school that afternoon in March. His father means the absolute world to him- they have always been each others best friend and number one fan. Sadly, we are not sure how long Keith was like this before he was found. Keith was the primary care taker of his son, and now my mom is responsible full time for taking care of my nephew and all of his needs, while also driving back and forth to the Pittsburgh hospital every day and attempting to make sure all of my brothers bills are taken care of as much as she is able, on top of having to start back to her job as well.
Keith has worked at the Huntingdon Prison for years as a correctional officer. Unfortunately, all of his PTO has been depleted and he lost his job since he is still in a coma. We have been doing our absolute best to pull everything together and try to stay afloat for when he wakes up, but I wanted to reach out and see if anyone is able to help. Anyone who knows Keith is aware how full of life he was and how much his son meant to him- my nephew constantly asks when his dad will be able to come home. His birthday was almost a month after my brothers aneurysm, and he asked us if his dad was going to wake up for his birthday. Keith has never failed to make another laugh and always made sure to leave an impact, where ever he went.
Anything at all is very helpful, and more appreciated by us than we could ever express.
