It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to friends and family to ask for your love and support to help raise funds for my dad ,Kevin. Most of you already know that this year has been especially hard on my mom and dad . In Feb of this year my mom( Debbie) was diagnose with stage 4 incurableBreast Cancer which spread to the lower spine, pelvis bone and other bones.Mom and dad had to go to St.Johns , for 3 months for moms radiation treatments and she is still taking chemo pills ever night and IV chemo once every 28 days. She has not been able to return to work since. Not only is my mom in for the fight of her life now but so is my dad.
Last week my dad had a biopsy done and the results show that he has throat cancer. My dad has already beaten cancer twice . The first cancer was In nov of 2010 he had cancer of the throat at that time my dad had laser surgery which put the cancer into remission .the second time my dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (a blood cancer of the bone marrow) In aug of 2012 which he had to under go a number of chemo treatments that lasted from sept 2012 -2013 and a stem cell transplant in march 2013 . In Oder to put the cancer in remission.
On nov 1 of this year my dad had appointment to go and see what coarse of action the doctors would take for him to fight the cancer in his throat . At this time the cancer is to deep to do laser surgery has an option. The coarse of treatment will be 35 radiation treatments . In order for him to do 35 treatments he has be away from home until his last treatment on dec 29. The Doctor has him put him of work until feb 28.
Although my main concern is for my dad and moms health. I do not want them to be burdened by the worry of financial stress.
The money raised will help with rent and other bills that has to be payed even though they are away from home. It will also help with travel, food, rooming and any other medical expense .
I am asking with my whole heart please ,anything that you may be able to donate would be greatly appreciated. Know that it is with love ,hope ,faith and prayers that i started this fundraiser. Lets show my dad and mom what the power of love and prayers can do.
