Fundraiser for Kim Miranda
Kim Miranda has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing a bilateral mastectomy surgery in early January. This will require several additional procedures and leave her unable to work for several months.
To say that Kim is a presence in her community and a rock in our family is an understatement. An active volunteer in Rochester, she has enjoyed building beds with ‘Sleep in Heavenly Peace’ and spending time at the Irondequoit Community Cupboard. Her involvement with the Irondequoit Rotary has allowed her to participate in many community events and share her smile with the town.
The funds raised will aid in the tremendous financial burden that is cancer’s unfortunate sidekick by helping to pay down medical expenses during this time of diminished income. Kim is grateful for the support of her family, friends, and community.
