Fundraiser for Kristin Knapp Cancer Treatments

My friend Kristin found out on December 30, 2020 that she has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma which had already spread to her lymph nodes. Her insurance is charging her, her full yearly deductible and out-of-pocket expenses, for BOTH 2020 AND 2021 over a space of 2 months.
Over the past 3 months she has been undergoing aggressive chemotherapy which will continue through May. Then, she will be undergoing a double mastectomy. At this time it is unclear whether the insurance company will cover the full procedure, which the doctors have deemed necessary. Then, she will undergo rigorous radiation & subsequent years of hormone therapy.
She is a wife, mother of 2 daughters, one of whom will be going to college this fall, a beloved teacher in Edmond Public Schools, and a very active member of our close knit community.
Kristin and her family have a long expensive fight ahead of them. In doing this I am hoping to alleviate some of this exorbitant financial burden.
