Fundraiser for Leslie Garcia

Leslie Garcia is a 6th grader at Hanson Park Elementary School in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood. She was recently diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We are hoping to provide her family with some financial relief as they navigate through this difficult road.

Leslie is a sweet, smart, and brave girl. On her free time, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and reading books related to her faith. Despite her diagnosis, she continues to be positive and wants others to take care of themselves. One thing that Leslie wants to share with others is to live life to the fullest. 

Because of the challenges that COVID-19 has brought us, we are constantly trying to find ways to help support our families that are facing uncertainty. Leslie's  birthday is coming up and homeroom teacher has arranged a care package drop off as well as a birthday parade so that we can all show our support.
