Fundraiser for Lori Villanueva

On February 18, 2020 Laura “Lori” Villanueva experienced a severe MS Relapse/Exacerbation.    She was hospitalized for 11 days where she received treatment.  While in the hospital Lori suffered an MS Stroke that affected her right side.  She has since been transferred to a local Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital where she does daily Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy.

Currently, Lori is confined to a wheelchair, but she is making daily progress to ditch the wheelchair for a walker and eventually walk with no assistive device.  Lori has a long road ahead of her and has set the goal of getting her life back the way it was.  Her short-term goal is getting back home to her children.  She has spent the last 5 weeks without her kids.

The courage and determination that Lori displays everyday fighting to get back what she lost is both powerful and humbling.  There is no doubt that with Gods blessings and Lori’s Army behind her she will succeed.  The support, prayers, and visits have done wonders for her spirits and progress.  The best medicine will come once she makes it home to her kids. 

In the meantime, as you could imagine the medial bills are coming in and are financially taxing.  The Go Fund Me is intended to help relieve some of the financial burden and stress placed on the family. Thank you!
