Fundraiser for Melody Cabrera Luna

Melody has been bravely fighting Lupus all her life and has been undergoing dialysis for some time. In the past few months, on top of her diagnosis of end-stage kidney failure, she has also been diagnosed with Calciphylaxis, a rare disease where calcium accumulates in small blood vessels of the fat and skin tissues, causing blood clots, painful skin ulcers and other serious infections. Due to the pain that she is constantly in, she has had mobility issues and is unable to transport herself to her multiple dialysis appointments each week.

As a devoted mother of two, her health battle has intensified as her kidneys continue to deteriorate and her trips to the hospital become more and more frequent. She recently has found temporary support for transportation and general care from her immediate family but we unfortunately do not have the funds to efficiently and adequately assist with her current medical needs.

We hope to raise funds for Melody's medical expenses and provide assistance with any unforeseen costs she may encounter. The beneficiary on this GoFundMe, Nicolette Revilla, is Melody’s eldest daughter. She has been in constant contact with her mother, despite living on the continent, and would be using all the funds raised to help her mother get the medical help she deserves!
