Fundraiser for Michelle Bruszer, Cancer-Kicker

Hello! Michelle recently gave me permission to share her story and this is the perfect platform for it. I appreciate this opportunity to help her and her husband with what I can imagine are almost insurmountable medical bills. And this will allow all of the people who love her, friends and family, to help support her as well.

Michelle has endured and beaten cancer 7 times,,,, yes SEVEN times due to a family genetic cancer disorder, with her first diagnosis in her teens. She has beaten it each time, but the consequences have taken a great toll on her both emotionally and physically. In her most recent body scan, she found out she has another cancer to beat down- metastatic melanoma. She will continue to see a world-renowned doctor at the U of Chicago Medical Center who is working on her aggressive treatment plan, including immunotherapy. I admire her positive attitude in the face of what's ahead, but she is motivated with the oh-so-Michelle "I can do" mindset. She wholeheartedly appreciates her care and support teams as well as her friends and family who help keep her optimistic. I hope whatever we can raise will ease some of the burdens of this disease that she will undoubtedly beat down.
