Fundraiser for John Schumacher

This is the first time I’ve ever done or considered doing this. The man I’m doing it for is my dad, he would never willingly ask for a handout but due to some unforeseen/unfortunate circumstances he needs the help. Though I know it won’t be possible to replace everything he’s lost I’m posting this with an extremely hopeful heart that we can raise enough to replace the one thing he needs to survive on his land, the land he maintains on his own, the land he severely struggled to maintain this past year due to the loss of his tractor. The tractor he selflessly sold to help someone near and dear to him afford her cancer treatments.

My dad has been through a lot and feels hopeless, he’s starting to believe good things just won’t happen for him, that there is no way out of the recent struggles he’s facing. It’s my hope to prove him wrong, to show him not all is lost or hopeless.

I’m hoping through all the unbelievably kind people out here, those that know/love my dad, those that know me, that believe in just paying it forward and those that just might want to help, that we can raise $14,949.00 or close to this next year to purchase a small tractor which will allow my dad to haul wood to heat his home and plow the never ending mounds of snow we face each winter here in Minnesota. My dad strained himself trying to do it by hand this last winter.
