Fundraiser for Oakley and his family

Dear family & friends,

Thank you for being so interested in our GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for 2-year-old Oakley.

Oakley was recently diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, MDS/JMML. It disrupts his body from producing the correct quantity of each type of blood cells and simultaneously starts developing cancerous cells.

Oakley is presently undergoing day-patient treatment but will be admitted for a number of months for chemotherapy in the new year, followed by a bone marrow transplant. We are lucky that an anonymous donor has been 100% matched with Oakley and the doctors are very optimistic. Upon discharge, Oakley will require continued monitoring and at-home care while his body recovers and grows stronger.

Throughout his treatment, extra expenses for transportation, parking, meals, and reduced family income will be incurred as his family supports him during this difficult time.

We have set up this GoFundMe page to help support Oakley's family financially by offsetting these and unexpected treatment expenses.
