Fundraiser for our wonderful friend Hope Pearce
Donation protected
As many of you will already be aware, our friend and colleague, Hope Pearce (nee Stringer), is continuing to fight against cancer. Since being diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma nine years ago, Hope has endured a whole range of treatments in an effort to beat this terrible illness. Despite numerous setbacks, Hope’s strength, determination and overwhelming positivity has amazed and humbled us all and yet, sadly, her battle still continues.
Although we have raised funds on her behalf before, her medical procedures, both in the UK and US, have been extremely expensive costing hundreds of thousands of pounds so far. Happily, her latest treatment is causing her tumors to shrink and she has reached the milestone whereby some are small enough to be surgically removed and yet, without further funding, she may not be able to continue on this, hopefully, lifesaving path.
This cause is so important to us all and is one that we truly believe is worthy of our support and yet we are also aware that we have tested your generosity on previous occasions. It’s for this reason that, in addition to asking for donations, we are hosting a charity golf day as another way to raise funds for Hope’s ongoing treatment.
For those who wish to join our charity golf day, it is taking place at Chislehurst Golf Club on the 23rd November. Entry fee will be a donation of £200.
Official invitation and further details will follow soon.
In the meanwhile if you care to join, please contact either:
