Despite his young age and zest for life, his heart briefly stopped, causing unimaginable challenges for him and his family.

Raize has always been the epitome of happiness and vitality. His infectious laughter, boundless energy, and unwavering kindness have touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Whether lending a helping hand to those in need or simply spreading joy with his jolly demeanor, Raize has been a beacon of light in our community. Currently, Raize is fighting for his life in intensive care at Texas Health. While his brain is partially functioning, he remains unconscious, facing a long road to recovery. The medical bills associated with his treatment and specialized rehabilitation are staggering, far beyond what his insurance can cover. This unexpected financial burden has added to his family's immense challenges.

Our beloved Raize is currently fighting a battle against a severe brain injury. On March 19, 2024, Raize suddenly collapsed, struggling to breathe. Despite the swift arrival of medical professionals within mere minutes, his heart stopped, leading to significant damage to his brain. The diagnosis is anoxic brain injury, and as of now, Raize remains unconscious.

Raize is still in the hospital because of recurrent pneumonia after being on a ventilator for too long, where dedicated medical teams are tirelessly working to stabilize him and promote his recovery. Though the doctors remain hopeful, the road ahead is long and arduous. What exacerbates our distress is the grim reality that Raize's insurance coverage falls short of the mounting medical expenses. As his family navigates this challenging ordeal, they find themselves grappling not only with Raize's medical condition but also with the financial strain it imposes.

Raize's journey to recovery will necessitate specialized care, including ongoing treatment and rehabilitation at a nursing home once he stabilizes. However, such extensive care comes at a significant financial cost—one that Raize's family cannot shoulder alone.
