Fundraiser for Rare Disorder Research-Team Genesis

Hi my name is Thejas Premkumar and I along with my fellow teammates from FLL Team Genesis are fundraising for research of rare disorders. In the midst of me and my teammates researching about dystonia for a project, we realized something shocking. Many people may not know that at least 42 Million people in the world today suffer from movement disorders such as dystonia. This means that these people are not able to puruse their dreams or passions. For our robotics project, we were asked to express our interest for our passions. Whether your passion is playing music, art, playing a sport, or anything else. These unfortunate people cannot enjoy these activities as same as we could. That was our catalyst to start this fundraiser. The funds from this fundraiser is non-profit and will go directly to the National Organization for Rare Disorders. With these funds for research, the NORD can create better and more consistent cures for patients. With these funds, the NORD will be able to conduct more accurate and extensive research. With your funds, you will help change millions of lives. Join me and my teammates Sidh Hirani, Philip Dong, Suprathik Raghavapurapu and Keerthan Manicka Sundaram as we work in harmony to change the lives of these unfortunate people.
