Fundraiser for Raul's Boxing Class

Hi, my name is Cinthia. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for my brother, Raul Manzo, and his fellow students from his boxing class. My brother has been separated from our family since September 2021 due to immigration laws and has been given a 10-year ban from the United States.

Raul currently resides in Mexico, in the small town of Tangamandapio, Michoacán. Since his deportation from a country he has been living in since he was an infant, Raul has found ways to cope with the stress of not knowing when exactly he will see his family again. My family and lawyers are looking for ways to bring him back sooner to the United States legally.

Raul’s most passionate coping method has been volunteering for free in the town’s sports auditorium, where he and another fellow coach teach youth the sport of boxing.

The picture on the left is my brother and two young, talented amateur fighters wishing to have enough funds to travel to Mexicali in October for a tournament. Those two kids and the 20+ kids shown in the picture on the right share just nine boxing bags and worn-out boxing gloves.

My purpose for starting this GoFundMe is to support the youth Raul volunteers to train financially. Hopefully, we raise enough money to send the two young fighters to Mexicali and have the funds to purchase more boxing equipment so my brother can reach out to more kids in the town he is living in.
