Fundraiser for Savanna Jakoby

Hello Everyone, 
 My name is Dawn Jakoby, and I truly appreciate you for taking a moment to read this. My daughter, Savanna Jakoby (27 y/o) was involved in a vehicle accident on July 2nd, 2024. She was taken from the scene of the accident to Meritus Medical Center by ambulance, then airlifted to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, in critical condition. Savanna has sustained many injuries including, lacerations to her kidney and liver, bruised pancreas, multiple fractures to her pelvis, a dislocated/fractured hip, and many abrasions and contusions to her extremities. Savanna has undergone 2 surgeries at the moment. Those surgeries/procedures include a hip reduction, which involved realigning and stabilizing with hardware such as screws, plates, and rods. She also had an open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF), a surgical procedure that treats severe hip fractures. Our family has watched her go from an “on the go”, very active, hard working woman, to one that has to learn to walk again. The recovery road ahead for her will be long, painful and exhausting. As she is still in the trauma unit in Baltimore, the medical bills are quickly adding up.
