This fundraiser is for Scozz Brubaker and his family. Scozz was Injured on duty

And has been out of work since June 2022.

He has No medical insurance since 04/22

He is Unable to collect Medicaid

He is not eligible for unemployment benefits as not medically cleared to work

As many of you know, or may not know I was injured at work in June of '22 and lost my income. I really don't want to get into the gritty details here on FB (as this had to go through the legal system). I am physically unable to continue in the Law Enforcement Field, or any type of job that requires any type of physicality so I have and have been trying to make it with my Graphics and Vinyl decal business. Work has been very slow coming in and finding a job here in SWFL that I can physically do has been unbelievably hard, I am at my wits end. I have past and new serious medical issues that I can’t be treated for as I lost my insurance and no longer can afford my COBRA payments. I require shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff and treatments for my lower and mid back.

I have exhausted my retirement and small settlement from the state/county as well as my investment/retirement account and savings.

We are in the process of trying to relocate to Delaware and I will be leaving here on November, 9 for a job. The plan is to come back for the family at the end of January (when our lease here in Fl is up). Of course, a huge and very expensive undertaking.

There are also a lot of things going on here that are very private and believe me I would not be asking for help if I was not backed against a wall.

I really do not want a handout, but sometimes you just have to ask for help.

It is hard times all the way around, that I understand, but if there is any way for you to help me out, it would be appreciated more than you know. If it is not possible, I completely understand.
