Fundraiser for my sister and her two daughters

Hi, my name is Satvinder. I am hosting a fundraiser for my sister, Manpreet, and her two daughters (ages 9 and 18 months) after the death of her husband and their father, Harmeet. As my sister prepares to return to work, I know that she, as a single working mother, will need the support of an entire community.

Manpreet immigrated to the United States from India in 2005 and, a few years later, met and married Harmeet. Their life was full and happy. When doctors diagnosed Harmeet with brain cancer in December 2017, I watched as my sister fought for and supported her husband. As an act of love, solidarity, and hope, they had another child last year. However, despite all personal and medical efforts, on July 11, 2022, Harmit passed away, surrounded by his loving family.

Now, as we gather around Manpreet to mourn her beloved and help raise her daughters, I am asking you to fight for and support my sister.
