Fundraiser For Teri Smith

Mom has been home for a little over a week now. She is still dealing with pain and discomfort, but she is in bed taking it easy. She will know more about her recovery after she sees her Orthopedic doctor. We still are asking for continued support during her recovery process. Any help is sincerely appreciated. Thank you to those who have been thoughtful and kind to my mother! And thank you to those who have already donated! Also, mom said any visitors who want to stop by are very much welcomed.

An unfortunate incident has happened to my mother, Teri Smith, while on her trip to Germany for a family member's wedding. She took a terrible fall that resulted in her hip breaking. Doctors had to perform surgery to repair the break with pins. She is in pain, but has begun her recovery process in Germany. As she said to me via text message, "No pain. No gain."

As soon as doctors release her, she will be traveling back home to Texas to continue her long and costly road to recovery. We, as a family, are worried she will struggle financially as her hospital bills increase. Especially since she will not be able to work during her healing process. The funds raised will be used for medical bills and living expenses.

My mother is ready to be home. She misses her family, friends, and work family. It is this same community that we now ask for help. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you would please share this fundraiser. Any and all help is greatly appreciated with true sincerity.
