Fundraiser for The Bourgoin Family

Hi my name is Brianna Bourgoin, and I am Roger Bourgoin’s daughter. As many people know Roger runs a business and he is the primary support system financially for our family. On November 10th Roger found out he had covid and he ended up having to go into the hospital at 3 AM on November 17th. Once admitted he was put on a ventilator and was put in a medically induced coma, three weeks later he had a tracheotomy because he could no longer have the endotracheal tube down his throat due to possible damage from it. He was then taken off the ventilator a week or so later but then had another bump in the road, and had to go back on the ventilator because his feeding tube had dislodged and so there was a hole in his stomach and he had stomach fluids where they did not belong so had to have surgery. He stayed on the ventilator for a while after that and once he was finally taken off the ventilator, he could finally start communicating and using his voice. The trache did come out on January 26th because the doctors were confident he no longer needed it. He is now in rehab and is starting to get a little stronger every day, we do not know when he will be able to get back into the garage and when he does end up home, my mom Jen will have to stay home to help him since he won’t be able to do much. So financially we will not have the support we need to pay bills. Roger also has short term memory so health wise he shouldn’t be in the garage for a while. Anything will help, thank you.
