Fundraiser for the Earthquake in Turkey & Syria

My name is Burak Budak and I am a freshman at Lambert High School in Cumming, GA. My family has been deeply saddened by the two earthquakes that happened in the Southeastern part of Turkey on February 6, 2023. The earthquakes have already claimed more than 9,000 lives and the death toll is rapidly increasing. As the Turkish-American community in the metro Atlanta area, our families, relatives, and friends in Turkey have been profoundly affected by this tragedy.

The Turkish government has declared a state of emergency, asking for international help as well. But the governmental efforts are unfortunately not enough and the public trust in the government is at an all-time low level.

So, I am asking for your help. Distribution of the funds will be handled by my parents who will send the money to the Ahbap Foundation, one of the most trusted non-governmental organizations in Turkey.
