Fundraiser for the Flores family

As many of you already know, Covid-19 has another one of us down. Will Flores, husband to Melissa Flores & dad to Cade, Sayler & Beau was recently diagnosed with COVID-19. In true Will fashion he of course played it down & his relentless positivity took him down a path of this will all be fine. Will being the young, healthy man that he is, we all assumed the same. His body & this virus had other plans. Friday, October 31st, Will & Melissa, along with a team of doctors made the decision to have him placed on a ventilator. As a couple, they felt like this was the best decision & have complete faith in following this recommendation by his care team. Today is Day 3 & this race is going to be a slow, steady one. The initial plan was 5 days and improvement is what we all hope to see as each day passes. As a Covid-19 survivor, I know all to well how serious this can be, the affects it can have on a family & the financial impact that follows. While Will & Melissa are both gainfully employed, the ICU bills, the time off can create a financial worry, which shouldn’t be a concern for them at this time. The Flores family does so much for everyone else, they are the people who give their last dime & the shirt off their backs. Let’s take our turn give to them & show them how special they really are to all of us.
