Fundraiser for the Volunteer First Responders

We are the families of Kent Kramer and Buckley (Brad Schilling).

They tragically died on the Missouri River on the 15th of January. The Pierre Fire and Rescue team, Akaska Fire Department, Selby Ambulance, Selby Fire Department, Game Fish and Parks, Walworth County Sheriff's Department, and Walworth County Emergency Management have all been diligently working since that date to recover them. Their tireless efforts and our prayers were answered when they brought the boys home on January 23rd!! These are volunteers, and their actions have proven the selfless dedication to their community. Many others in the community supported the emergency workers including Brandi and the Akaska Tavern & Bait Shop staff, various church organizations and many others in the community.

Our intention is to evenly distribute the funds by check to each of the volunteer organizations in support of the tremendous work they did for our families. Included is The Pierre Fire and Rescue team, Akaska Fire Department, Selby Ambulance, Selby Fire Department, Game Fish and Parks, Walworth County Sheriff's Department, and Walworth County Emergency.

We can now rest easy knowing Kent and Buckley have been recovered and plan to donate to all the organizations that were involved in their recovery. Thank you to all and God Bless!!
