Fundraiser for the replacement of Stolen overhead

On Tuesday the 24th of September our hardworking volunteers arrived on site to discover that a 40-meter section of our overhead has been STOLEN.

This has taken the tramway out of operation as we can no longer provide one of our Lakeside depot with power to move any trams.

 

We are working on finding replacement overhead wire, but it is not cheap.

 

This fundraiser is to allow willing participants to help us restore the tramway back to a working condition so that we can once again run a service.

 

All funds raised by this fundraiser will go towards;

-Hire of a cherry picker to allow us to repair or replace any damaged span wires.

-Procurement of copper overhead wire.

Any monies remaining after the overhead has been repaired will go towards or Lakeside Depot expansion fund.
