Fundraiser for The Twins
Donation protected
Tuesday, October 29, 2019, was a day that changed all of our lives. You may or may not know that the loveable LaNe' & ZaNe' Young were involved in a horrific car accident. It’s by the grace of God, a blessing, that their lives were spared and they are still with us here on Earth.
The Twins are the daughters of Erika Young. If you know, or even heard of Erika Young, then you know “The Twins”…and vice versa. They have the mother-daughter relationship that many long for.
The Twins are both high school honor graduates from Hillside High School in Durham, North Carolina. In May of 2019, they graduated from North Carolina A&T in Greensboro, NC after maintaining the Dean’s list every semester.
They were currently working with the Durham City School System, doing what they loved, which is working with children
This accident has and will put a strain on the family. Their mother Erika is not currently working and has been in the hospital with her daughters since the day of the accident. She remains hopeful and optimistic while focusing on the girls and making sure that their baby brother, Jah'Vonta Young, is being cared for.
Both girls sustained multiple injuries and have a long road to recovery, which will include extensive therapy and treatment.
LaNe', known by her family & friends as “LaLa”, is progressing well and is now in stable condition. While her sister, “NeNe” remains in ICU.
As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time so we are asking for your help. If you feel compelled to support, your donations are greatly appreciated.
All donations will be used to help cover household costs, medical bills and ongoing expenses.
